Skills

  • Pursuing/completing/completed a Master’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Planning, or related disciplines
  • Demonstrable experience and skills in use of remote sensing software as ERDAS Imagine, ArcMap, QGIS, IDRISI etc. and fluency in working with raster/vector data

KEY TASKS

  • Literature review on Ecosystem Services Modelling software
  • Input data preparation required raster and vector layers, information from secondary data sources Ecosystem Services Modelling using a suitable tool, e.g., InVEST, Terrset ES
  • Modeller etc. Collate and customize data, analyse modelling outputs, interpret results and write reports Any other research tasks assigned by IORA
